In the spirit of reconciliation, CBB acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea, and community. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and we extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

We change lives in your community

CBB supports the staff of over 150 First Nations organisations to collectively access millions of tax-free dollars through salary packaging. Many of these organisations and their staff are based in some of the most remote communities in Australia. The extra income greatly benefits these local economies – more funds are injected into local businesses, leading to growth and jobs. It also helps these employees live more comfortably, making it more financially viable for them to stay in the job they love and create a social impact.

Together, we help your clients

Salary packaging and the Remote Area Benefits scheme will increase your organisation’s consistency of care and other services because it helps your employees stay in their job for longer. Not only will your organisation see greater staff retention and reduced employee turnover costs, but your clients will also receive services from people they know and trust, which is an important factor in achieving strong outcomes.

81% of our customers said that the availability of salary packaging influenced them to accept their current role. This means you may attract quality staff to your organisation just by offering salary packaging to new or potential employees. Of course, great staff provide great services for your clients.

That’s not the only way we can support your organisation: the not for profit prowess and sector expertise of our advisors will empower your organisation to deliver on its mission and create a stronger social impact, changing the lives of the people and communities you support.

The CBB difference

Like you, we are a not for profit. We understand the challenges and opportunities in our sector, and we are driven by a clear mission to improve the capacity and sustainability of other organisations. Our work supports organisations like yours to have a stronger, long-lasting impact for the communities you serve. Here’s how we changed organisations and lives in FY 20/21.

Nowhere is too far to go

We understand the challenges of being based in regional and remote communities. Our Relationship Team is proactive and willing to travel so that your staff get to meet us face-to-face. Plus, no matter where you are based, we guarantee that your organisation will receive the same great standard of service as our clients just down the road from us.

No organisation is too small

We want everyone to access the benefits of salary packaging. It doesn’t matter how small or large your organisation is, we take the time to sign each and every employee up for salary packaging and fully explain the options available to them. We also prepare a tailored pay analysis to demonstrate the exact benefit they can access. This is the uniquely personalised approach that influences 99.7% of our clients to stay with us year after year.

Contact our First Nations Engagement Specialist

Based on Larrakia Country, Mitch Amidy heads up our Darwin office and is the key contact for many of our clients in Northern Australia. Mitch is also our First Nations Engagement Specialist; this is where his true passion lies, and is the main reason he enjoys coming to work at CBB everyday. He especially enjoys having the opportunity to support children in the community through his work.

Having lived in Darwin for 17 years, Mitch is an active member of the local sporting community and can be found most weekends on a sporting field. If he’s not playing soccer or kicking a football, he’s coaching and supporting his two daughters with their sporting aspirations.

As a proud Wiradjuri man, Mitch dedicates himself to creating pathways for other young First Nations boys and girls to achieve their sporting dreams.

Set up a time to meet Mitch when he's on your land

When we say we support organisations all over Australia, we really mean it. Mitch loves getting out and about to visit our customers face to face, and he regularly travels to some of the most remote communities in the country. Here’s our travel plan for the rest of the 2021/22 financial year. While we’re on your land or close by, we’ll make sure we come and visit you – simply email Mitch and he’ll arrange a time to come for a yarn and see how we can support your team and community.
